Space for identity, culture and belonging.
You may want to talk about racism, cultural expectations, belonging or the strain of feeling misunderstood. These experiences can be part of counselling, alongside anything else that matters to you.
I’m Vincent Akinnawo, a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist in Gillingham, Medway. I offer a space to explore how your background, relationships and experiences shape the way you feel about yourself and the world around you.
Culturally sensitive counselling means making room for your perspective rather than assuming what your identity means. We can explore family expectations, faith, migration, discrimination or the experience of moving between cultures, if these are relevant to you. You decide what you want to bring.
Choosing a therapist is personal. The free 30-minute consultation gives you space to ask about my approach and consider whether you feel understood. In-person and online sessions cost £70 for 50 minutes. Call 07759 737823 or use the contact link above.
