Time to talk openly about what matters to you.
Work, relationships, family expectations or changes in your life can leave little room to notice how you are feeling. Counselling offers space to talk without needing to have the right words or a ready-made solution.
I’m Vincent Akinnawo, a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer counselling for men who want to explore stress, anxiety, low mood, relationships, loss or questions about identity and direction.
There is no single way to be a man, and I will not assume what your experience should be. Our work can include emotions, relationships, identity and the pressures of everyday life. We can explore what you feel expected to manage, how that affects you and the patterns you would like to understand or change. You can bring several connected concerns, or begin with the one that matters most today.
Our initial conversation can focus on what you want to be different, questions about counselling and the support you are looking for. We can agree a focus and session frequency individually, then review how the work is going. You can also ask about confidentiality and the limits explained in our counselling agreement.
I am currently accepting new clients. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change a session. The full £70 fee is payable for late cancellations or missed appointments. Online meetings can use Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, by agreement.
Sessions are available in person at Kent Well-being Hub in Gillingham, Medway, or online. The fee is £70 for 50 minutes. A free 30-minute initial consultation offers time to ask questions and decide whether working together feels right. Call 07759 737823 or use the contact link above.
